Google might be working on three new Pixel phones for next year. As codenames of the three upcoming Pixel phones got leaked on the internet. Which are all oddly based on the names of fish, including albacore, crosshatch and blueline.
Even though it’s an interesting news, do take it with a grain of salt as it’s very early to except anything. Among the three Pixel phones, Google will also be coming up with a premium version. Something that is similar to what Apple did with its iPhone X smartphone. Aside from that two high end models will also be joining in, making a total of three Pixel phones. .
We also saw similar rumors when Google first launched its Pixel phones. Which also included three premium models with codenames muskie, walleye and taimen. Aside from that the codename crosshatch was also spotted on Google AOSP documentation. Which does gives us hope that Google might be considering something like it this time around. Though there is no news on the other two codenames for now. Including albacore and blueline.
Whatever the case maybe we would have to wait till next year to see what the actual result is. But one thing is sure, that Google is now dedicated towards making hardware after the two new Pixel phones that were launched recently. Because in terms of both hardware, design and OS the two new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones are the best that Android have to offer.
The Google Pixel 2 XL is also being reported a lot for having a bad display. Which includes complaints regarding the burn issue that the display has. Something which creates an after image, that to some users is quiet distracting for a brand new smartphone. That also does not come cheap. While on the Pixel 2 everything seems to be fine.
What do you think about the recently launched Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL?
