About a week ago, Google starts rolling out the updates of Android 8.1 beta version for its devices. Unfortunately, the company fails to do due to some errors. The Google Pixel owners reported the issues on downloading and installation process. They reported when they start the installation of their device, it automatically fails to do. The good news is this, the issue has been resolved.
According to the report, the confirmation came in the form of a forum post by a Google employee Orrin Community Manager is stated as:
We are collecting feedback about user reports of OTA installation issues on the 8.1 beta. If this is happening to you, can you post your experiences here? That will allow us to possibly reach out for bug reports or additional information.
Moreover, the user faced issues while they attempted to install the OTA update, the phone rebooted and got to the Google logo (this happened multiple times), following which it rebooted back to 8.0. After that, a dialog box appeared with a notification saying “Couldn’t install system update.
