Aside from the big Galaxy S8 and S8+ unveiling, Samsung has some more interesting news for us. The standardization of fingerprint sensor have made the technology drop its prices during these few years. As the prices go down, it would make it easier for smartphone manufacturers to equip even low budget smartphone with a finger print scanner now.
Now the big news from Samsung is that, they can now equip their Galaxy J series with a fingerprint scanner. According to different sources Samsung has already started working on it. And is making deals with fingerprint scanner suppliers. Where the product is reported to start manufacturing as soon as May. While the new Galaxy J models with the fingerprint scanner will be available till the second quarter of 2017.
Equipping a budget smartphone with a fingerprint scanner open doors to a lot of conveniences. One being that the owners of the upcoming Galaxy J smartphone would take advantage of Samsung Pay. Aside from that in the Indian market not everyone can afford a high end Samsung smartphone with a fingerprint scanner. Keeping that in mind Samsung also recently introduce Samsung Pay in India as well. So you must be wondering why would Samsung introduce Samsung Pay in a country. Where people can’t afford high end smartphones with a fingerprint scanner to support Samsung Pay.
